The IECEx mark license scheme operates as part of the IEC System for Certification to Standards Relating to Equipment for Use in Explosive Atmospheres, as provided for in accordance with the IECEx Basic Rules (IEC Harmonized Basic Rules, IEC CA 01 and IECEx Supplement, IECEx 01-S).
