The IECEx “On-Line” Certified Persons Scheme provides for the issuing of IECEx Certificates of Personnel Competencies.

The IECEx Certified Persons Scheme provides the global Ex industries with a single system for the assessment and qualification of persons meeting the competency prerequisites needed to properly implement the safety requirements based on the suite of IEC International Standards covering explosive atmospheres, e.g. the IEC 60079 and IEC 61241 series of standards

IECEx Certificates of Personnel Competence are issued by approved IECEx Certification Bodies (ExCBs). An IECEx Certificate of Personnel Competence demonstrates to the International Ex industry that a Certified Person has been found to operate procedures that provide confidence that the work undertaken complies with IECEx requirements and with the requirements of the relevant IEC Standard (s).
